[Our Central Australa Trip, September 2009]

We'd been saying for quite a few years that we should take a trip to Central Australia. We'd been to lots of places near home and in coastal areas, but we'd never been "out back" as they say.

We decided the best way to do this was to fly from Adelaide to Alice Springs, grab a camper van and drive ourselves around. The other option was to hire a car and stay in hotels, but this would be been probably more expensive and way less convenient - the camper van was just awesome.

We planned our trip fairly well as we usually do, but left the schedules fairly open which paid off in the end.

Here's story of our trip ....
